For extra drama, swish, or sun protection, a maxi-length skirt can feel lovely to wear. Fortunately, it's a quick and simple adjustment to lengthen the Children's Fable Dress to a gorgeous, ankle-skimming maxi length.
In order to create a maxi-length skirt, simply add the amount listed in the chart below to the length of the skirt pattern piece.
12-18m | 18-24m | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 10 | ||
Length to add to skirt pattern piece | inches | 8.3 | 9.1 | 9.6 | 10.4 | 11 | 11.4 | 12.6 | 13.6 | 14.8 |
cm | 21 | 23 | 24.5 | 26.5 | 28 | 29 | 32 | 34.5 | 37.5 |
No additional changes are needed - just cut and sew as described in the tutorial, and enjoy swishing about in a maxi length Fable Dress!
