I have made two of the patterns in the Celebrating Ebook, the reusable crackers and the wands. They were both so much fun, and the results were incredibly satisfying. The reusable crackers seemed like the perfect gift for my dad, who loves giving party favors. I thought he would like something to secrete his gifts in. I made fancy crackers with bright scrap panels, and used strips of fabric to make the ties. I love how wonderful they look! They were not difficult at all, and the method for putting them together is great, so that all seams are hidden or sewn down by the velcro so there is no hand sewing required. I also loved the wands as a way to use up scrap fabric. I used fabric strips for the tails and used fray check so that the tails will stay looking nice for a long time. I did depart from the instructions in making the wands, as I used woven fabric rather than felt. I put a long post over in The Treehouse, the private Circle group for T+T sewists, if anyone is interested in doing what I did. I love these patterns and I look forward to making others from the Ebook
The patterns in this book are simple yet very detailed and thought trough! I love how quickly the projects come together and they are all perfect scrap-busters.
I’ve just completed the reusable crackers and the crowns to use at Christmas. The pattern was easy to follow and I had fun making them personal. In keeping with using what you have I changed the back of the crowns to use left over elastic from the pandemic era.
I haven’t had the chance to make these yet but I’ve used Twig and Tale patterns before, so I know the instructions and the finished items will be great…they are on my list to make next

I just finished the crowns that the girls will decorate and the wands. I still plan to make the gift bags and some wings too.

Beware these patterns are addictive! I started off just thinking I would make a string of bunting and a couple of gift bags but found myself wanting to make just another each time I completed a make
Love that these are perfect scrap makes and some are easy enough for children to sew.
