Digital Pattern Barefoot Romper Sewing Pattern - Child

So many great options. A really versatile pattern. I hand sew and t&t patterns have always been easy to apply to hand sewing. I made two of these in different sizes. 1 I was able to measure the child and both were still way too big. That was disappointing. I've never had size issues with any of my other t&t patterns. I'll still give it 5 stars because it could be an error on my side. I did notice this pattern doesn't print the size on the peices. If you update the pattern that would be nice to add.

I have made this pattern in knit and wovens. Came together quickly and easily with really clear instructions. Looks adorable on my kid and she loves to wear it!

Although I have been sewing for a while, this was my first ever pdf pattern. Once I had got the adobe acrobat working it was really easy to print off the size I wanted and put together.
The sewing instructions were good, with clear photos, and it all came together very easily and well.
I made this as a gift in 12-18m size with broad crossed straps as I love the retro look of it, and made my first ever popper opening too.
The fabric was a soft baby cord from my mum’s passed on stash, with buttons from her button tin too!
I am really looking forward to making more of these and the different variations too, as it was so much fun and I have lots of repurposed fabric to use.
I would really recommend this pattern and am very excited to try some of the other ones in the future too.

This is my second Twig + Tale pattern, and I am so happy to have found them. I am a beginner sewist, but I've made a romper before. The clear detailed instructions, made this a really fun sew in comparison. I felt guided the entire time. There are a ton of options for customizing, and I'm already planning another one for my big girl. I also love that this can be used with knit fabric as well. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm glad to have that option. I used leftover fabric from my stash for the kangaroo pocket and facings. I chose size 12-18 months for my two-year-old based on his chest measurement and the shortest hem. I cut the back elastic for size 18-24. It's not the most idealic picture, but it's the best I can do for now haha!

For a long time I wanted to make a barefootromper. This one I made for our wee granddaughter. It’s a size 6-9 months. My daughter was gifted a lot of cloths to sell online and I was allowed to use a dress with this beautiful print. The instructions of the pattern were very clear, the only mistake I sometimes make is thinking: oh I know how to do that without reading properly. My daughter in law requested already one for big brother of 2y too. More barefootrompers to come! Thanks T&T

This was so fun and quick to make. My daughter loves it. And wherever she goes she gets so many compliments for her pants with big pockets

Unfortunately I haven't had the time to make yet but love all the choices and adaptations which are possible.

The design looks versatile and the potential to have a pattern that could be used again appealed to me. This was my first digital pattern. Fabric was from Britex of San Francisco - at $45 per yard it was costly but I wanted something as unique as the pattern. Adobe Reader on a Mac does not allow for printing layers. A friend with professional Adobe Acrobat printed the 18-24mo pattern - except she confused the two red dotted lines and I got 18-24 back and 8 year old front. I learned that I could print for myself and tediously trace the proper lines. If I had not had to cut and recut pattern pieces, I would have had lots of fabric left over. As it was, I had enough of the 1.25 y fabric left to make a baby's backpack. Managed the snap crotch but finishing the leg opening was kinda hit and miss. Likely it was my confusion with the right pattern line to cut but the leg length front to back didn't match. All in all I spent about $100 (had to buy snap equipment). I'll try using it again and hope things go smoother when I get around to making a three year old jumper.

I bought this pattern and once I learned about ‘Adobe Layers’ it was full steam ahead!!! The instructions are very clear and the pictures are so helpful. I have made two size 5’s for my granddaughter - one in a quilting cotton weight and another in a stretchy jersey and size 3 for my grandson - in a heavy weight cotton and a jersey. Such a cute and versatile pattern
