Suggested Fabrics
Autumn/Winter Exterior: Medium-weight cotton and wool, velvet, corduroy, denim, canvas, flannel, suiting fabric, velour, wool felt, fleece, faux fur or something similar. Woolen blankets and felted wool sweaters can also be used for the classic version.
Spring/Summer Exterior: Quilting cotton, linen, lightweight denim or chambray.
Lining: I like to use cotton, linen, flannel, or other breathable fabrics next to the skin. Sherpa, faux fur, fleece, or other soft fuzzy fabrics could also be used.
Upcycling
There are so many possibilities! Consider wool trousers, linen skirts, or men's cotton dress shirts.
