- Large safety pin for threading the elastic through
- Small amount of interfacing for waistband
Size & Measurements Chart
Check the child’s measurements against the measurements in the size chart to get the best fit. These sizes are based on ATSM standard measurements and may NOT correspond to typical ready-to-wear sizes. If your child’s waist and height measurements fall under two different sizes, you can achieve a custom fit by altering the pattern according to the instructions in the pattern tutorial.

Fabric Requirements - Shorts, Pants, Culottes
- For the Shorts, Pants and Culottes, you will need the amounts listed in the chart below of 44”/110cm wide fabric. These amounts are for non-directional fabrics.
- Suspender Versions: Add an additional 20cm of 110cm wide fabric (8” of 44 inch wide fabric) to the amounts required below.
- Optional Bow: Add an additional 20cm of 110cm wide fabric (8” of 44 inch wide fabric) to the amounts required below.
