One of my grandchildren is very fair-skinned so this little dress is perfect for covering arms and shoulders.
I made it in a linen blend first but it’s a bit big for this year. Next I tried a double gauze in the smaller size which worked well, although still a bit big around the neckline and I need to take the hem up.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The pattern sewed up beautifully and fits great. I made one for my newborn and one for her older sister. I love that I can make matching tops for them. The newborn is now wearing her older sisters top. The best thing about sewing is homemade handme downs!
Absolutely love this pattern. I've made one each for my granddaughters. One I up cycled so quite chuffed with myself the other I made from from soft indian cotton. The pattern and instructions are very easy to follow. Please could this pattern be made for adults as I would buy it immediately ❤️❤️
