I made two versions of this pattern, one for me, one for my husband. The explanations are clear, straightforward and easy to follow. The French seams give a lovely finish to this blouse/shirt and it’s comfortable to wear. I am quite sure I’ll make others!
I started with a child's shirt for my toddler nephew but have plans to make one for my grown-up son and one for me in the near future. As ever T&T instructions are so clear - it makes sewing this shirt so easy (even a tiny one!) Now I'm just waiting for my son to come home from uni to measure him up for his. Looking forward to it!
Definitely a stretch for my sewing skills (I’m definitely an adventurous beginner who needed to unpick a few seams along the way). Used lightweight flannel and no interfacing with excellent results.
This is a beautiful pattern and gives the opportunity to learn how to sew with French seams. I really enjoyed making this shirt and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. As a Twig and Tale Storyteller I received the pattern for free to make and share my experience. All opinions are my own.
I attempted this Breeze Top after making a Scenic Top. I made a toile from a thrifted cotton blanket. I love the way the collar turned out. This is a great pattern for learning how to do an interfaced collar, a facing, and French seams. Can't wait to make adult version.
Another great T&T pattern. I love this approach to French seams; easy to do and avoids the messiness of zig zag. None of my garments look as good on the inside as this one! A little more flounce in the sleeve than I might have picked but it looks good with the pattern and fabric. Love the outcome!
The Breeze was a breeze! Simple to make, cool when made from a natural lightweight fabric. Design looks good too.
Pattern is really easy to follow. Made with French seams and succeeded eventhough it was my first time. End result is super nice and I shall make one for my daugther and one for me as well.
love the pattern but I have not made it yet
I always discover all the ways how to NOT put a pattern together. When I follow the directions it works perfectly. 🤭Now that I have successfully figured it out, he will have a whole closet full of these.(pay attention to the collar)
Bub loves this style. It’s easy to put on with no fasteners. Not restrictive for a very busy explorer.
