Not quite a Pixie Pea Coat!!

Made some modifications to my basic coat pattern and turned it into a vest for my youngest grand daughter. Delivering it to her in Melbourne on Sunday. Pattern was easy to use.

Pixie Pea Coat is adorable

I love the simplicity of this pattern.
It is a wonderful gender-neutral pattern that lends itself easily to creating a one-of-a-kind coat. I am presently working on my third quilted coat. With all the options this pattern comes with its a must for any creative sewer or quilter.

Very enjoyable and satisfying sew

I loved sewing this coat. I made it for myself with the round hood and wave pockets. All the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It was only the second time I had lined something and the first was not a success. This time it all went very smoothly thanks to the excellent instructions and photos. Thank you for a wonderful pattern. I will definitely be sewing more Twig and Tale clothing in the future.

Pixie pea coat

This classic coat was a joy to make up.
The instructions were clear but perhaps could incorporate a bit more detail when applying the button strips. All easily remedied.
What a great result!

Cute coat and easy to follow instructions

I enjoyed making this coat for my niece's 7th birthday, the only trouble i had was choosing which size as i had read it runs big, i ended up making a size 5 with the length of size 6 and it was perfect! Plenty of room for her to grow but also doesnt look heaps oversized. I sized up to a size 7 hood upon seeing other's reviews and that even fit me. I had a few issues sewing the neckline and hood together but the facebook group offered me some great tips for how to do that better next time. I would recommend this pattern to others.

This pattern is great

Made this little coat for my niece. The pattern was so easy to follow, with clear instructions and helpful pictures. I used boiled wool for the exterior and cotton for the lining. Will definitely revisit this pattern when the coat has been outgrown :)

Very simple and effective

This pattern was really easy to follow and didn’t take long at all to come together. We used an old blanket, and a satin dressing gown and it looks fantastic and we are very happy with it.

Gorgeous easy pattern!

Such an easy to follow pattern - would recommend to anyone. Once all the cutting out was done, the sewing itself did not take long at all!
Will be making many more of these coats!

Pixie Peacoat

This pattern was a pleasure to sew. I’ve made 2 for my grand children from wool blankets. Lined with leftover fat quarters which I joined in a higgilty piggilty patchwork . Hopefully the coats will fit for a couple of years as I left the arms Long and rolled up to grow into. I also put a zip in the boys jacket with buttons in the girls version. Very pleased with how they just effortlessly went together.
Instructions were very good and easy to follow
