I had made many Twig + Tale children's patterns, but this was my first dress for adults. As always with T+T the pattern has a great fit and the instructions are spot on. I love that there were diffent sleeves added later on. So many more options :-) The fable dress is that kind of staple pattern that you can make over and over again.
I love this pattern, it is so amazing!!! Easy to follow and easy to put together. The optional elastic at the back makes all the difference if you want a more fitted look. I made a Halloween inspired dress, and plan to make green velvet one for this coming Winter
I really love this dress. I did a lined version, and the construction comes together beautifully. I added patch pockets and it turned out so cute. I definitely plan to make more, and might even hack it into a top! This is a versatile and timeless pattern, I highly recommend it.

I haven't touched a sewing machine for more than 30 years. The new one was my birthday present and this garment was my first project. The world has changed. You should have seen me figuring out how to print and tape. But, the instructions, the tips and general guidance made this undertaking a real pleasure. I made a plaid(!)
