great pattern, easy to follow, already planning to make more. I used a minky fleece and cotton canvas, I did break one needle on the seam going round the bottom section where it met the seam coming down from the crown, but i changed for a larger needle and went slowly when i came to the seam and it was fine.
Though I have not made this hat yet have cut one ready for making and have read the instructions. All appear easy to follow and easy to cut out, I traced as I intend to make a few of different sizes, easy to follow the lines. Great pattern.
I’ve made four and a half hat by now. They are very comfortable and cool. Quick and easy make with great instructions. I can’t say I’ll make loads, but that’s the fauxfur giving me hassle 😂
I’ve made three aviator hats so far and they have all come out wonderful! The only thing I would change would be the part that covers the back of the neck, it could be a bit wider. It would be nice if it covered another inch of the back of the neck. Other than that I highly recommend the pattern. The projector pattern has nice bold lines and the instruction are straightforward
Loved this pattern. I used moose hide, faux fur and sheep shearling for the head liner. It is a Christmas gift for my daughter in law. I hope she loves it. I will most definitely be making more. Thank you for sharing.
Cute hat pattern with very helpful and detailed instructions.
