Digital Pattern + Video Class Fishing Vest Add-on Sewing Pattern - Child

Made this for my grandson. He approved! I only complaint is the flipping back and forth from the main pattern to the add-on pattern, otherwise five stars😊

I am an adventurous beginner sewist and, while I have many T&T patterns on my to-do list, this is only the 3rd I've actually made and like the other two, the instructions and tips could not have been better! I am especially grateful for T&T's encouragement for sustainable making. In fact, the most expensive thing on this vest is the zipper - which is the only thing I bought new. The total cost for the materials in this vest was less than $10 - and nearly half of that was the zipper. If it wasn't for my wonderful experiences with other T&T patterns, I never would have tried such a complex garment - and I certainly wouldn't have thought to keep an eye out at thrift stores for fabric that would be good for this project. (I still have enough left for a vest for my son-in-law or my husband!) I am so grateful that I found your site and tried that first Petal Dress (of which both of my granddaughters are proud owners)! Now, onto those dolls...

This pattern is fantastic. There are so many different pocket options, making the vest so customizable. The instructions were easy to follow and I got a great fit on the first try.

This is truly a work of love. Every detail is so well thought out and executed. I don’t have many opportunities to make my little son beautiful heirloom pieces but this site fit the bill.

Renamed as adventure vests, absolutely loved this pattern. Made the side pockets before realizing that it would interfere with outer pockets. So the extra pockets became “adventure collection bags” … grandsons loved them 😁

Wonderful pattern. My granddaughter has made this her “discovery vest”. It was easy pattern to follow and fun. I cannot send picture as it was a Santa gift, and she looks through my phone. So deleted.

Love this pattern. Easy,clear directions. Wonderful product with a professional look I am proud to gift. I have completed 3. 2 more to go for Easter surprises for my grandsons. Ages 14-12-7-7-3. The older boys will use them for fishing the younger ones for adventuring! I know the pockets are going to be a hit with boys...maybe not so much with moms 😆 thank you for another great pattern!

Another brilliant pattern, made for 8 year and 10 year old. A good learning curve to make cargo pockets! They turned out beautifully and given with magnifying glass and compass for birthday woodland adventures!

This was so lovely to make, found the pockets a challenge at first but they turned out so well. My daughter couldn’t believe I’d made it for her son!
